Your TK-02 experience just got smoother—meet v33.
Starting April 14, version 33 of the TK-02 firmware will begin rolling out nationwide. This update brings a few community-requested changes designed to improve your daily coffee routine. As a reminder, firmware updates can take up to two weeks to reach your machine. There is no need to update the app as these are machine-only updates.
Introducing Grind Through
One of the most community-requested features is here: Grind Through. This lets you grind and eject coffee from the machine without brewing, making it easier to clear out the hopper before switching beans. With a clean waste bin, you can even use your TK-02 as a standalone grinder and pre-ground coffee capture.
How to use it:
- Go to Advanced Settings → Grind Through
- Select grind coarseness (same as for espresso or drip)
- Set the number of repetitions (similar to selecting shots for espresso)
- If using the grounds, ensure the waste bin is clean and dry before pressing start. This update opens up more ways to use your machine — especially if you like to switch things up often.
A More Convenient Sleep Timer
We heard you — 30 minutes to standby was too short, leading to unexpected delays. Now, the timer is set to 60 minutes, giving you a smoother morning routine with less waiting for your machine to heat up.
A Quieter Cleaning Routine
The automatic cleaning cycle at sleep has been adjusted. We’ve re-ordered the routine to start with the quieter cleaning first, giving you a subtle heads-up before the steam kicks in.
These updates are all about refining the daily TK-02 experience, and we appreciate the community feedback that helped shape them. Keep an eye out for the update over the next couple of weeks, and as always, happy brewing!
